I love eating herring, and using traditional recipes. I think both of these can go together in this dish. Today we’re going to talk about Brathering. I found a wonderful recipe online and I’d like to give credit to the person who supplied it. I’d also like to give you the information for the recipe here.
Brathering Recipe by Roy Denman
8 herring
3 onions
100 gr flour
Pinch salt and pepper
700 ml wine vinegar
700 ml water
1 Tbsp Juniper Berries
4 bay leaves
1 tsp of peppercorn
1 Tbsp mustard seed
4 Tspb sugar
1 Tbsp salt
6 Tbsp oil
